Do you service irrigation systems that weren't installed by WaterForce?

Yes. Our service technicians maintain and repair horticulture irrigation systems throughout New Zealand, regardless of who originally installed them. We provide servicing, fault finding, seasonal maintenance, sprinkler replacement, dripline repairs, filtration servicing, fertigation maintenance and irrigation performance reviews for commercial orchards and vineyards.

Can you supply and service Rivulis, Netafim and other irrigation brands?

Yes. WaterForce works with many of the leading irrigation brands used throughout New Zealand horticulture, including Rivulis, Netafim, IrriTec, Antelco, Amiad and other commercial irrigation products. Whether you need replacement components, system servicing or a complete irrigation upgrade, our team can recommend the right solution for your operation.

Can WaterForce replace existing dripline and recycle the old dripline?

Yes. Dripline has a finite lifespan and will eventually need replacing due to emitter wear, blockages, UV exposure, or physical damage. WaterForce supplies and installs replacement dripline for orchards and vineyards, including leading products such as Rivulis dripline, helping maintain irrigation uniformity and system performance. As part of our commitment to sustainable irrigation, WaterForce is also a FuturePost recycling partner. Customers purchasing eligible Rivulis dripline can access our specialised dripline rewinding machines to recover old dripline ready for recycling, making the replacement process faster and more efficient. Eligible purchases also include a prepaid recycling voucher so the equivalent amount of end-of-life dripline, regardless of brand, can be recycled through FuturePost into 100% recycled vineyard and farm posts.

Do you provide irrigation systems throughout New Zealand?

Yes. WaterForce supports growers across New Zealand through our nationwide branch network. Our horticulture specialists work extensively throughout Hawke's Bay, Marlborough, and Central Otago, with dedicated teams based in Hastings, Blenheim, and Cromwell, alongside support from our wider national network.

Can fertigation be added to an existing irrigation system?

In many cases, yes. Existing drip irrigation and micro sprinkler irrigation systems can often be upgraded with fertigation equipment and automated controls. WaterForce designs fertigation systems that improve nutrient application, fertigation mixing and irrigation scheduling while integrating with existing infrastructure where practical.

How often should orchard and vineyard irrigation systems be serviced?

Commercial irrigation systems should be inspected before each irrigation season and monitored regularly throughout the year. Routine servicing includes checking filters, flushing dripline, inspecting emitters and micro sprinklers, servicing valves and pumps, and reviewing fertigation equipment and irrigation controls to maintain consistent performance.

WaterForce can integrate automation into both new irrigation systems and many existing orchard and vineyard irrigation installations, helping reduce labour while improving water and nutrient management.

Do you only supply equipment, or do you design complete irrigation systems?

Can old irrigation dripline be recycled?

Yes. WaterForce partners with FuturePost to help growers recycle end-of-life dripline rather than sending it to landfill. Eligible Rivulis dripline purchases include a prepaid recycling voucher, and WaterForce can provide specialised rewinding equipment to recover existing dripline ready for transport. The recovered polyethylene is recycled by FuturePost into durable vineyard and farm posts, supporting a more sustainable approach to orchard and vineyard irrigation.
