Drippers will deliver a precise application of water or nutrients right to the active root zone. These systems can either be installed above or below ground.

Drip irrigation is ideal for vineyards, olive groves, pip and stone fruit orchards, vegetables, landscapes and effluent water dispersal.

These systems are usually fully automated, requiring very little labour or power to operate. You can design your drip irrigation system to match your soil type – but it’s important to enlist the help of a specialist company like WaterForce because poor design can lead to serious crop losses.

We supply a full range of drippers and integral drip-line products including pressure compensating pipes, non-pressure compensating pipes, non-drain, anti-siphon and Rootguard® technology.

Key Features
  • Apply moisture right to the active root zone to conserve water and deliver the most precise application possible.
  • Systems are usually fully automated so very little labour is required.
  • Uses very low energy so you will save on power consumption.
  • System application can be matched to soil type and/or automated with soil moisture tools for maximum precision.
  • Allows nutrients to be easily introduced to the root zone to promote ideal growth.
  • Drip systems can be buried to minimise vandalism.
Highlights
  • Small dripper pathways require fine filtration to prevent particle blockages and sometimes chemical treatment is required to reduce scaling in drippers or pipelines.
  • Soil moisture monitoring is important due to the nature of precision application and potential risk of under or over watering.
  • System flow rates need to be regularly checked to detect any dripper blockages.
  • Regular system flushing and maintenance is required.
  • Drip systems should be designed by a specialist company like WaterForce as poor design can lead to serious crop losses.
